This thesis investigates how warehouse automation—specifically Verity’s autonomous drones—affects greenhouse gas emissions across multisite logistics networks. While prior research shows drones improve accuracy and reduce warehouse-level emissions, their broader impact on transportation efficiency and emergency shipments remains unclear. The study uses operational data, network analysis, and GHG accounting to quantify how automation-driven accuracy improvements may reduce transport-related CO₂ emissions.
