Summary:
Our key objective is to develop and test a new, data-driven methodology for estimating greenhouse gas emissions from cloud computing that is beyond the limitations of a spend-based approach. This project aims to establish a reliable baseline for MIT’s computing related emissions and propose practical strategies for ongoing measurement, reporting, and in the future, reduction.
