Summary:
This capstone project identifies truck stops as essential components of transportation infrastructure and focuses on optimizing their functionality during crises. Using network analysis, spatial data, and truck driver insights, it pinpoints critical truck stops within the U.S. transportation network. The study proposes targeted infrastructure, policy, and service improvements to enhance freight network resilience and ensure the efficient flow of essential goods in emergencies.
