Summary:
Our partner struggles to align warehouse staffing across departments with short-term demand forecasts. To address this, we developed a labor scheduling optimization model that translates forecasted job demand into department-level staffing recommendations. The model identifies surpluses and shortages, accounts for skills and availability, and guides managers in reallocating resources to maximize demand fulfillment.
