Summary:
The truckload market has remained in the trough recovery phase for an unprecedented three years. This project aims to identify and forecast shifts in market cycles by examining relationships between independent economic variables, freight demand across spot and contract markets, time periods, and transportation modes. The goal is to evaluate whether certain variables or modes can serve as early signals of upcoming market turning points.
