Summary:
Our initiative intends to create a thorough inventory management system to improve the efficiency of spare parts production during new product launches. The objective is to minimize holding and manufacturing costs by avoiding the overproduction of surplus items and enhancing inventory turnover. This is achieved through the classification of spare parts, establishing ideal production quantities, and strategically planning inventory locations. A tool is in development that will provide a structured, data-oriented method for classifying spare parts, determining production levels, and optimizing inventory allocation throughout the warehouse network, offering insights that can be customized for future instruments.
