Summary:
The company’s current forecasting processes heavily rely on sales-based forecasts generated through SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (SAP APO). While this system provides forecasts driven by sales data, it lacks the granularity and adaptability needed to address operational requirements in warehouse labor planning and logistics management. This thesis is expected to create a logistic forecasting model developed using artificial intelligence techniques and identify potential variables that may impact logistic forecasting.
