Summary:
The impact of key opinion leaders, or influencers, tends to spike unprecedented demand which makes it increasingly difficult for businesses to forecast sales and plan inventory levels. In this study, we aim to establish a model for our sponsor company that predicts the productivity of KOL live stream events in China and optimizes a planning process that supports top line growth and minimizes remnant inventory. The methodology used will be a field experiment, and a combination of econometrics, machine learning, and statistics.
