Summary:
Procurement in organizations is tasked with taking on increasingly strategic roles. The consequence is the need for effective utilization of data both to make purchasing decisions and to harness available resources and tools, to ensure maximum benefits are derived from the different processes. The project’s goal is to provide our sponsor company with a model that explains relationships between variables in buying channel behaviours and buying channel utilization to improve efficiency, along with machine learning models based on data classification and segmentation. Also to develop a procedure for analysing and answering key questions when forecasting for the launch of a new channel.
